Foothills standpipe location submitted to regulators

Corporation Commission receives EPCOR plan

EPCOR Water has submitted its proposed location for the standpipe to serve the Rio Verde Foothills area to the Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC).

The proposal was submitted to the ACC Sept. 30.

The standpipe site would be on 176th Street approximately one mile south of Rio Verde Drive. The 176th Street intersection is about 1,200 feet east of the entrance to Trilogy and the proposed shopping area. The Rio Verde Fire District Station #2 is on the southeast corner of the intersection.
