Residents of Boulder, Richwood and Golden Eagle Area: Never forget that when Ginny Dickey was a Fountain Hills councilmember, she voted to allow 1,550 houses on the State Trust Land, resulting in over 3,500 daily auto trips on our local collector streets.
This horrendous decision would have created a gridlocked thoroughfare in a quiet family neighborhood, replete with walkers, bikers, children, all that is intrinsically valuable in a small town, Fountain Hills.

Councilmembers Dickey and Archambault denounced the objections of the neighborhood in favor of a high-density, traffic-generating project, ensuring the decline in property values such crime-ridden, high-density projects bring to a community and no measly amount of revenue generated can fix it.
Today, we are truly fortunate to have as our mayor Linda Kavanagh. Mayor Kavanagh has publicly commented that she is understanding of the legitimate concerns about future development of the State Trust Land and its impacts to the Boulder-Richwood area.
Mayor Kavanagh needs our votes for reelection and will provide the necessary leadership, which protects our neighborhoods so special to the charm and vitality of Fountain Hills.
