On senior night, April 15, Kyan Taylor walked across the diamond as the announcer said he planned to attend trade school after high school.
Less than a month later, on May 14, Taylor signed his commitment to play baseball for Big Bend Community College.
“I had full intentions of going to trade school after high school to be an electrician and then this opportunity was so last minute that I was like, you know what, I’m just going to run with it,” Taylor said. “Because I feel like it’s a sign just because of how late of a notice it was, and I am really grateful for this opportunity to be able to do this.”
