While the handful of illuminated street signs along various major intersections in town aren’t eye level, they’ve become quite the eyesore, especially at night.
After the previous vendor the town had relied on for approximately 25 years “simply vanished,” town staff sought a new vendor to take on the task. And during its meeting on June 2, the town council unanimously voted to enter into agreement with Summit West Signs for up to $150,000.
Town Public Works Director Justin Weldy noted the town had signs on a repair or replacement rotation prior to losing its last vendor.
