Fountain Hills adopts 2 supplemental programs

With one vote in opposition on a pair of measures, the Fountain Hills Unified School District Governing Board approved two supplemental project-based learning programs at its Aug. 6 meeting.

Defined Learning is a supplemental program the district will use for project-based learning. Edgenuity will be a program used for Fountain Hills High School student credit recovery and virtual learning settings, largely replacing what’s left of the district’s PLP online program.

Superintendent Cain Jagodzinski and Board Vice President Madicyn Reid had a lengthy dialogue about whether to start using the two programs on a contractual basis.
