The Town of Fountain Hills has openings on three of its advisory commissions at this time.
Application forms for any of these positions are available at the Town Hall reception desk or on the town’s website, fh.az.gov.
Applications should consist of the following:

*Supplemental questionnaire (located on website).
*Consent to Executive Session (located on website).

MPC
Three openings are available for directors to serve on the Municipal Property Corporation. Applicants must be Fountain Hills residents for a minimum of one year, and be available to attend annual meetings.
The directors will be appointed by the town council and will serve on a volunteer basis for a three-year term starting on Sept. 18, 2018 and ending on Sept. 17, 2021.
The Town of Fountain Hills Municipal Property Corporation (MPC) was formed to assist the Town of Fountain Hills in financing, acquiring, constructing and equipping certain real and personal property and leasing, with an option to purchase, such property and the improvements thereon back to the town.
The MPC meets on the third Thursday of October each year. Special meetings of the board may be called by the president or the secretary upon notice to the public and to each director.

SCAC
Four openings are available for commissioners to serve on the Sister Cities Advisory Commission. Applicants must be Fountain Hills’ residents for a minimum of one year and be available to attend monthly meetings.
The commissioners will be appointed by the town council and will serve on a volunteer basis for a three-year term ending on June 18, 2021.
The role of the commission is to act in an advisory capacity to the town council in developing and promoting municipal partnerships between the town and other similar jurisdictions in other nations.
The commission will work with members of the Sister Cities Corporation to provide opportunities for town officials and citizens of Fountain Hills to experience and explore other cultures through long-term community partnerships. The commission will also work to stimulate environments through which communities will creatively learn, work and solve problems through reciprocal cultural, educational, municipal, business, professional, and technical exchanges and projects.
The commission members will collaborate with organizations in the United States and other countries that share similar goals.

SPAC
One opening is available for a commissioner to serve on the Strategic Planning Advisory Commission (SPAC) for the remainder of a term ending June 30, 2019. Applicants must be Fountain Hills’ residents for a minimum of one year and be available to attend monthly meetings.
The commissioners will be appointed by the town council and will serve on a volunteer basis.
SPAC was established to foster implementation of the Strategic Plan and to update and maintain it regularly to ensure it serves as the town’s foundation for decision-making.
Qualified applicants should have an understanding of strategic planning and a desire to foster relationships and partnerships with residents and stakeholders to implement the town’s Strategic Plan.
