Fountain Hills Art League supports arts in schools

Proceeds from annual tour fund supply donations

Members of the Fountain Hills Art League presented boxes of art supplies to teachers at Fountain Hills High School and Fountain Hills Middle School on Friday, Aug. 15, as part of their ongoing effort to strengthen arts education in the district.

Thanks to proceeds from the 2025 Tour d’ Artistes, the League delivered paint and other supplies directly to FHUSD staff. McDowell Elementary Art Teacher Cristina Iring said some of the materials are already earmarked for a project with her students.

“We’re a PBIS school, which means we’re safe, responsible, kind and respectful and our school colors are white, black and blue,” Iring said. “We’re going to paint rocks that reflect our positive behavior with words and school colors and place them in the garden.”
