Celebrating the therapeutic power of creating art, Fountain Hills-based artist Mya Novak says following through with her passion allows her to connect with her community in a way she never had before.
Using primary acrylic paint, Novak uses vibrant colors to create what she calls detailed abstract art.
“Pop culture, female forms, nature... I like trying different art all the time,” Novak said. “Creating art is very therapeutic for me and participating in the community helps strengthen me by doing things I’m not used to or need to learn.”
