Fountain Hills Artist Nancy Grahlmann paints mural for Pal’s Inn

Project took 44 hours to complete

Local artist Nancy Grahlmann painted a scenic mural at Pal’s Inn Pet Resort in Fountain Hills.

Over the holidays, local artist and president of the Fountain Hills Art League Nancy Grahlmann had the opportunity to paint for a different kind of audience when Pal’s Inn Pet Resort commissioned her to paint a scenic mural.

The mural, which depicts Four Peaks, a desert landscape and a waterfall, brings a sense of calm to the open-air yard of rambunctious dogs.

“When you walk in, the mural becomes a window to what’s behind the building,” said Tracy Rothstein, Pal’s Inn director of operations.
