Fountain Hills Artists’ Gallery refreshes layout

Local gallery makes art more accessible

As artists and creators around the country celebrate the spirit of Arts and Humanities Month in October, the Fountain Hills Artists’ Gallery has recently renovated its gallery space to foster a deeper connection with residents, making it easier to view and engage with local artwork.

Hanging 2D art was previously set behind jewelry cases. The updated layout at the Artists’ Gallery allows visitors to view wall art up close while the jewelry cases center the gallery, offering a more immersive experience to reflect the studio’s commitment to making art more accessible.

“Wall art sometimes is best seen from a distance, but in the diversity of art in this gallery, it was difficult to see the level of detail from behind the jewelry cases,” says local artist Christine Demma. “What a difference it makes when you see it up close and personal.”
