The Fountain Hills Artists’ Gallery will hold a demonstration from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 13, led by ceramicists copper artist Jim Rapisarda.
Rapisarda says using copper has enabled him to capture desert landscapes and abstract designs in a unique way.
“Copper has unique properties that, as an artist, I decided to explore,” Rapisarda said. “I applied heat to copper using a torch, resulting in patterns and colors that are always unique.”
