The Fountain Hills High School baseball team finished the region sweep over No. 26 Wickenburg (5-7) with a 2-0 win on the road on Thursday, April 4.
Senior Kyan Taylor pitched a complete game, throwing 11 strikeouts in seven innings and only allowing one hit. The No. 15 Falcons (9-4) only had four team hits, but they were timely.
They loaded the bases in the fourth inning and junior Griffin Bos hit a single to bring junior Lucas Grieco in for the first score. On the next at bat, sophomore Jack Irwin reached first base on an error, and senior Isiah Challman scored.
