Fountain Hills basketball reloads, not rebuilds, through summer camp

Brings opportunity and practice year-round

Fountain Hills boys basketball is a team that takes on the “reload, not rebuild” model. And the Falcons’ annual success is widely regarded by opposing teams across the conference. That process doesn’t start in the spring, however, but in the dead of summer through camp.

Falcons head coach Jeff Bonner, with assistant coach Brent Olsen and volunteer varsity players, run the camp that has doubled as a developmental tool for the hoops program while embracing younger Fountain Hills kids through athletics to retain district numbers. 

Senior Grayson Pavia, who volunteers at the camp, said it’s his fourth summer with Bonner as a player.
