Fountain Hills school board alters ‘liquidation’ policy

While a policy change approved by the Fountain Hills Unified School District Governing Board only involves a single word, it could have implications with future personnel moves.

The board voted 4-1 on Sept. 17 to approve a change to a policy known as “GCQC - Resignation of Professional Staff Members.”

The change was only to remove the word “spouse” from the section about waiving fees for resigning in the middle of a contracted year due to relocation.
