The Fountain Hills High School boys basketball team is on a five game win streak and have outscored their opponents 324-178 in that span.
The No. 9 Falcons (12-3) won a close game, 59-52, against No. 22 Camp Verde (8-8) on Saturday, Jan. 27, and then dominated against Wickenburg (2-14) three days later. The Falcons crushed the Wranglers 73-16 on Jan. 30, without senior Keaton Ort or junior Lucas Grieco on the court.
“I think Saturday’s game was a little more intense, and I feel like we played better as a team,” sophomore Ahren Lloyd said. “We played as one unit. I say this Saturday’s game, we really proved who we are.”
