The Fountain Hills Chamber of Commerce will present its fifth annual State of the Chamber at FHConnect, the community’s largest networking event, Thursday, June 19, at 7:30 a.m. at the ADERO Scottsdale Resort.

This breakfast gathering will feature insights from Betsy LaVoie, CEO/president of the Fountain Hills Chamber and Arizona State Treasurer Kimberly Yee, who has led the state’s financial operations since 2019.

Yee oversees the management of Arizona’s $64.7 billion state budget and has nearly doubled the state’s assets under management to over $31 billion, according to a press release.

The Fountain Hills Chamber of Commerce will present its fifth annual State of the Chamber at FHConnect, the community’s largest networking event, Thursday, June 19, at 7:30 a.m. at the ADERO Scottsdale Resort.

This breakfast gathering will feature insights from Betsy LaVoie, CEO/president of the Fountain Hills Chamber and Arizona State Treasurer Kimberly Yee, who has led the state’s financial operations since 2019.

Yee oversees the management of Arizona’s $64.7 billion state budget and has nearly doubled the state’s assets under management to over $31 billion, according to a press release.

Yee’s leadership includes initiatives that support local businesses and communities, including a 140% increase in the Local Government Investment Pool, boosting returns for municipalities and enabling more local economic projects and expanding the AZ529 Education Savings Plan to include career and technical education.

As the state’s financial literacy task force chair, Yee also champions legislation for mandatory financial education in high schools. Yee, whose term as state trasurer expires in 2026, announced recently she is running for state superintendent.

Attendees will gain valuable updates on the state’s economic outlook, the Chamber’s future plans and opportunities to connect with fellow business and civic leaders.

The breakfast buffet includes coffee, scrambled eggs, bacon, chicken sausage, roasted potatoes with bell peppers and onions, fruit, assorted pastries and juice.

Tickets are $45 with a $20 discount until June 13.

ADERO Scottsdale Resort is located at 13225 N. Eagle Ridge Driv.
