The Fountain Hills Farmer’s Market will host the second of three Children’s Entrepreneur Markets (CEM) this season Wednesday, Nov. 27, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

There will be 50 booths for children (ages five to 16) selling their crafts, hobbies and more.

Visitors can expect handmade food, art, store-bought items, games or services.

The kids must do all the selling, according to a press release, while their parents are welcome to help set up and let the children deliver the pitch and close the sale.

CEM is a nationwide non-profit organization that seeks to help kids learn leadership and business skills with firsthand experience, the release said.

Those interested in registering their children for the CEM can visit childrensentrepreneurmarket.com and look up nearby markets to participate in.

Space is currently sold out for Nov. 27, but Fountain Hills children are invited to come to the event and find inspiration from these young entrepreneurs.

There will be over 10 local Fountain Hills families with children participating Wednesday, Nov. 27, and the CEM tent will be set up to answer any questions.

Call Fountain Hills Farmer’s Market Manager Betsy Hess at 480-227-6113 for more information.

The Farmer’s Market runs every Wednesday until the end of April. It will be closed on Christmas and New Year’s day.
