In preparation for the nation’s 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the Fountain Hills Community Chorus is inviting singers from across the community to take part in a special patriotic concert celebrating the country’s semiquincentennial.
The milestone performance will feature approximately 15 patriotic selections, presented with the accompaniment of a brass ensemble, a departure from the chorus’ typical piano-supported performances.
“That’s unique for us,” said Mathew Frable, the chorus’ artistic director. “We don’t usually perform with instruments. This time we do.”
