OPINION – What a great Fountain Hills Community Garden 8th Anniversary event we had.
I want to sincerely thank everyone who donated to the Extended Hands Food Bank during our food drive, we filled the truck and they had to come back to pick up more donations. The food bank said it was the biggest donation they'd ever had from a single event. There were also lots of cash donations.
Thank you to all of our vendors and all those who donated to our silent auction. We raised an additional $1,000 for the food bank. Thank you, Deborah Devens Romano, for leading a wonderful and tasty cooking class and thank you to Ukiah, Lesle and Dusty of The Sand Pigeons for the great live music.
