Fountain Hills Community Garden hosts grand reopening

Green space adds modifications during relocation

After a full year of reconstruction, the Fountain Hills Community Garden is gearing up for its grand reopening Saturday, Nov. 4, to celebrate its new beginning.

And while a six-year anniversary celebration may seem unusual, the amount of work done to complete the garden’s short move is more than enough reason to celebrate the garden’s renewed effort to create a space of peace, community and education in the town of Fountain Hills.

Following Town Council’s decision to relocate the garden further south from the Centennial Circle to make space for the planned International Dark Sky Discovery Center (IDSDC), the garden board decided it was an opportune time to make a few changes throughout the civic center green space.
