Celebrating five years in town, the Fountain Hills Community Lions Club has one core belief: to serve the community.
As one of 46,000 active Lions Clubs in 206 countries around the world, the Fountain Hills Community Lions Club was established in 2020 under the leadership of Laura Olson with a stated purpose to encourage service-minded people to serve their community without personal financial reward.
With five areas of focus including awareness of diabetes, vision, childhood cancer, world hunger and the environment, the Fountain Hills Community Lions Club is best known for its efforts in helping local students protect and preserve their vision, says current club President Don Wendel.
