Fountain Hills residents will have several chances to see some classic rock band laser show concerts right here in town this summer.
The McDowell Mountain Elementary School (MMES) planetarium will be used to show music concerts and movies this summer. The Fountain Hills Unified School District (FHUSD) held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the planetarium on Saturday, May 4, and Superintendent Dr. Cain Jagodzinski wants more community members to use the one-of-a-kind planetarium before next school year.
“We’ll have planetarium laser music light shows, different ones throughout the month of June,” Jagodzinski said. “There will be an admission cost. It will be reasonable, but all the funds will go towards buying planetarium shows for the kids for next year.”
