Fountain Hills council awards landscape contract

For wash and dam maintenance

The Fountain Hills Town Council has unanimously voted to award a professional services agreement to Top Leaf Tree Services for maintenance of town-owned wash property and detention dams the town is responsible for.

The agreement is “not to exceed” $210,000 a year.

Public Works Director Justin Weldy told the council that the washes and dams are a significant part of the town’s stormwater and drainage infrastructure. He noted that in more recent years there has been some neglect due to difficulty finding a contractor as well as the pandemic years.
