Fountain Hills council race goes to runoff

Primary fills just one seat

The primary election votes have all been added up and the results show just one candidate has been elected to the Fountain Hills Town Council during the primary.

Gayle Earle received 4,226 votes, which left her just 10 votes ahead of the threshold to be elected outright.

It was Earle’s first campaign as a political candidate, and she said she is extremely grateful for everyone who helped her through the process.
