When the Town Council meets on Tuesday, June 18, it will be wrapping up the 2024 fiscal year as well as the last session before the summer break.
There will be some final considerations for the year as well as putting final touches on budget items for the coming year that begins on July 1.
Key among the discussion items is the staff request for direction on how to spend $5 million in funds allocated for street improvements. There are 12 recommendations on the table which include options presented by a “budget optimization street selector system” from Roadway Asset Services the consulting firm the town and citizen’s street committee has been working with.
