The second annual “Passport” program will be held at the upcoming Dark Sky Festival Saturday, March 29, from 4 to 7 p.m.

Kids can pick up their passports at the table in front of the Fountain Hills Library. There are two age ranges: five to 12 years old and 13-17 years old.

There are stations to visit that are marked with colored balloons. Kids are encouraged to write what they learn at each station on their passports.

After completing the four stations, passports are returned to the library table with all the contact details filled out on the last page which will be used for the drawing of various prizes which will be awarded at 7 p.m.

The two grand prizes are mountain bikes and other prizes will be announced at a later date. Every student who completes a passport will receive a Dark Sky tote bag (while supplies last).

The Dark Sky Festival will feature wildlife exhibits, face painting and more activities for kids.

The Dark Sky Festival is planned for Saturday, March 29, from 4 to 9 p.m.
