The Fountain Hills democratic Club will be holding its November meeting on Thursday November 8 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Community Center. The club members are hoping to celebrate a blue wave in Arizona and among the speakers will be Daria Lohman, candidate for State Senate, and Eric Kurland, candidate for State Legislature for LD 23. The Club will also be holding elections for several officers whose terms are up for reelection, including Vice President, Treasurer, Corresponding Secretary and Community Outreach Chairperson. The nominating committee has been hard at work to present a slate of candidates and all members in good standing are encouraged to run as well.

In addition to elections, members will be encouraged to offer ideas and suggestions for programs in the coming year. If you know of a speaker or have a topic that you would like to learn more about, this is your opportunity to participate in the future programming of the Club.

The Club will also be accepting memberships for the 2019 year. Membership is $20 a year and provides voting privileges and service opportunities.

If you are unable to join us at this meeting, you can look for us at our booth at the Arts and crafts Festival November 9-11.

The Fountain Hills Democratic Club meetings are open to all like minded people and we hope interested folks will check us out.
