The Fountain Hills Unified Governing Board hasn’t officially moved to place an override item on the November election ballot yet. But things have moved significantly in that direction.
The board voted unanimously March 4 to direct administration to bring a resolution to the board sometime before a June deadline. A likely approval of that resolution would put an extension of the district’s 15% maintenance and operations budget override on the Nov. 3 ballot.
District Superintendent Cain Jagodzinski has explained at recent meetings, why approval of the override extension is critical.
