The Fountains United Methodist Church will welcome the community with an evening of rhythm and fellowship during a drum circle at 6 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 28.
The drum circle is led by Fountain Hills resident Skip Cleary, who owns a collection of 17 drums.
During the gatherings, Cleary often brings out one of his “mother drums,” a large instrument standing about three feet tall that helps anchor the rhythm as participants play together. He also shares his collection of drums and rattles, inviting others to join in.
