Students spilled out of their cars Tuesday, July 28, greeting friends with hugs and waves before making their way into the Fountain Hills High School gym.
Inside, the annual Falcon Fest gave new and returning students a chance to settle their first-day jitters by connecting with teachers, counselors, clubs and classmates ahead of the first day of school on July 30.
From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., students picked up class schedules, took yearbook and student ID photos, walked the campus to familiarize themselves with their classrooms, met with counselors, reconnected with teachers and explored student clubs and community organizations.
