Town of Fountain Hills Fire Chief Dave Ott has announced the promotions of three fire captains in the department to the position of battalion chief to be effective Jan. 1, 2026.
Ott has named Bryan Golden, Mike Grieco and Brad Linden to the new positions. All three have long-standing relationships and service with the Fountain Hills Fire Department, beginning as reserve firefighters with Rural/Metro Corp.
“The addition of the battalion chief will put an incident commander on the scene of emergencies quicker and aligns us with our regional partners and the Valley standards,” Ott said. “They will also help us manage the day-to-day operations of their shifts with more consistency.”
