The Fountain Hills High School girls basketball season ended in the quarterfinal round of the playoffs.

The No. 6 Falcons (17-1) lost 66-40 to No. 3 Show Low (17-2) on Monday, Feb. 19.

“Show Low’s a good team,” head coach Amanda Baca said. “They have a lot of defensive pressure and they were a little bit bigger than us, so size hurt us. I think a bit of our youth showed for the first time all season.”
