The Fountain Hills High School girls soccer team made strides in just one week between its first and second games of the year.
The Falcons started the season 0-2 against two tough programs, but head coach Ari Horvath has the Falcons team starting to believe in themselves.
The Falcons lost the first game 9-0 to the reigning state champions, Benjamin Franklin, on Wednesday, Nov. 29. Then on Tuesday, Dec. 5, the Falcons played Gilbert Classical Academy, a team that went 12-1-1 last year, much closer and lost 5-0.
