Golden Eagle Education Foundation supports National Mentoring Month in Fountain Hills

Long-time member retires

The Golden Eagle Education Foundation is losing its long-time leader and gaining a new one.

The foundation hosted the 2025 Mentory Appreciation Breakfast Jan. 16. Sandy Davis, longtime leader of the foundation, as well as a founding member of the Mentor Program, announced that she is stepping down from the board. The foundation named Jenna Van Beek as president.

At the breakfast, the foundation celebrated students and mentors during National Mentoring Month. The attendees recognized Golden Eagle’s presence in the community for nearly 30 years. The orgranization  supports the local community, students in schools, the staff and administration.
