Fountain Hills senior Ethan Schafer returns to the state golf championship tournament for the third time in his high school career.

For the first time since 2021, Schafer will be joined by the rest of the Fountain Hills High School golf team.

The Falcons finished last season just outside the cut, as the top 17 teams went to state, and they finished No. 19 last year. The Falcons finished this season ranked 11th in Division III, and they have nearly an identical lineup to last year’s team.
