Fountain Hills golfer Jane Noble competed in her sixth U.S. Women’s Senior Open hosted by Barton Hills Country Club in Ann Arbor, Michigan, on Aug. 20-23.
Over the four-day tournament, players must make a cut after Friday to compete in rounds 3 and 4 over the weekend. Noble carded an 11-over, shooting 77 on Thursday and 78 on Friday, narrowly missing the cut of 10-over par.
This was the eighth U.S. Women’s Senior Open. After qualifying for the major tournament, Noble said her goal was to make the cut, but she was grateful for the support of those in Fountain Hills and her team regardless.
