It’s the busiest time of the year for those involved with one of the Golden Eagle Education Foundation’s signature annual projects.
GEEF’s Senior Recognition will be held on a Monday evening this year. The 6 p.m., April 20, event will be held at the Fountain Hills Community Center, 13001 N. La Montana Drive, where dozens of Fountain Hills Unified School District seniors will be acknowledged and scholarships will be announced.
The foundation’s Board of Directors Vice President and scholarship program coordinator, Marcia Hoenle, said the event is one of the happier moments in the school year for many.
