The majority of Fountain Hills High School student athletes will see a whole new field of competition this year.
The Arizona Interscholastic Association (AIA) reclassifies schools every two years and moved Fountain Hills from 3A to the 2A conference for athletic competition in 2024-2026. The Falcons will play in the 2A Central region.
“I think it’s going to be great for our kids to play against other towns, other communities,” Superintendent Dr. Cain Jagodzinski said. “I think with our size, we’re going to be able to be very successful, and I think whenever you have success, it’s a part of the school.”
