Victoria Perea is Fountain Hills High School’s new athletic trainer.
She most recently worked on the athletic training staff at Arizona Christian University, and she said she was overwhelmed with gratitude from the coaches and other staff when she arrived at the local high school.
As the school’s full-time athletic trainer, Perea will attend every athletic event and ensure the health and safety of all players. She had to rush into action on her first night when senior Keaton Ort took a hard fall on the basketball court and started to bleed from a cut above his eye.
