The Fountain Hills High School (FHHS) Key Club recently held a blood drive to uphold its purpose to serve the community and build student leadership skills.
Club sponsor Kim Flowers said she didn’t do much besides ask the Key Club members if they wanted to host a blood drive and set up a few logistics.
“The Key Club, led by President Katelyn Smout, handled all other details of the event: hanging posters, writing announcements, personally visiting advisory classes to promote the event and then volunteering during the morning of the event,” Flowers said. “I was impressed with their initiative and how the Key Club members demonstrated their leadership skills.”
