Fountain Hills high school has named its next volleyball coach, and it’s a familiar face to the program.
Misty McCall, the Falcons’ sand volleyball assistant coach under Pete McGloin, has taken the reins of the indoor program. She was officially hired on Aug. 4.
McCall, 26, knew she’d be joining McGloin as an indoor coach, and though McGloin was initially set to return as head coach, he felt – and knew – McCall was ready. The pair had discussions after the sand season concluded, and once McCall landed a job with the middle school, she applied.
