Fountain Hills High School boys varsity basketball team continued their great start of the season with a dominating 52-35 win versus the Horizon Honors Eagles. The Falcons made a big defensive statement during the game. Horizon’s offense was nonexistent during most of the game, and Fountain Hills had 25 more rebounds than the Eagles.
“We wanted to pick up the tempo and play hard on the defensive side of the ball,” said junior Ahren Lloyd. “They also couldn’t stop us in the paint and that gave us a big advantage.”
