The Fountain Hills Unified School District (FHUSD) Governing Board conducted a public hearing on the proposed budget for 2024-25 on Wednesday, June 5.
Districts are statutorily required to prepare a proposed budget by July 5 every year, and the board will bring the proposed budget up for a vote at the next meeting on Tuesday, June 18.
Tyler Moore, a financial consultant with True Professionals LLC, explained to the board that the Auditor General sent preliminary budget forms to all districts to use until the state legislature approves a fiscal year 2025 state budget.
