The Town of Fountain Hills Downtown Facade Improvement Program will begin taking applications April 1 until May 4. The program aims to encourage private investment and enhance the visual character of downtown, according to a press release.
The program, which has $50,000, will provide financial assistance to property and business owners seeking upgrades to the exteriors of their buildings with matching reimbursement grants up to $10,000. The funds will help paintings, masonry repair, window and door upgrades, new awnings or shade structures and exterior lighting.
