Following the Town Council forum on Wednesday, April 29, the mayoral forum between the two candidates, current Mayor Gerry Friedel and Councilmember Brenda Kalivianakis, was held on Thursday, April 30, at the Community Center.
The question-and-answer forum took a cordial tone as residents eagerly listened to how the candidates responded.
Geoff Yazzetta, chair of the Civic Affairs arm of I Love Fountain Hills, presented the eight curated questions. He said there were initially seven questions but, in light of recent news regarding the River of Time Museum, an additional question regarding its future was asked.
