The Fountain Hills Parent Teacher Organization sponsored a visit from Animal People AZ to McDowell Mountain Elementary School for a Kiss the Capybara event.
Animal People AZ taught the students about its organization. The group protects and saves animals that need positive relocation. The organization also educates students about the animals in its sanctuary and the importance of protecting the ecosystem. Animal People AZ is a family run business that’s built on values, and its main goal is to make eco-awareness knowledgeable for people of all ages, according to co-founder Zach Storer.
Storer spoke with Fountain Hills Times Independent about the Animal People AZ’s goals and importance of teaching students about protecting the animals’ ecosystems.
