The Men’s CLUB in Fountain Hills held its annual business meeting and director elections on Monday, Dec. 8, at The CLUB facility.
According to a press release, the event was attended by 102 members who enjoyed a member-prepared prime rib dinner with fixings.
President Izzy Myers led the business meeting, which began with a moment of silence for three members who passed away in 2025, including 2009 Past President Aaron Lichtenwalner and longtime members Arnold Rohrer and Chester Yon.

The Men’s CLUB in Fountain Hills held its annual business meeting and director elections on Monday, Dec. 8, at The CLUB facility.
According to a press release, the event was attended by 102 members who enjoyed a member-prepared prime rib dinner with fixings.
President Izzy Myers led the business meeting, which began with a moment of silence for three members who passed away in 2025, including 2009 Past President Aaron Lichtenwalner and longtime members Arnold Rohrer and Chester Yon.
After recognizing past CLUB presidents in attendance from 2012 to 2024, the election for the 2026 Board proceeded, in which the nominating committee’s full slate was unanimously approved.
The 2026 Board members include: President Jim Grahlmann, VP/President-Elect Harry Lupuloff, Secretary Jim Sawicki, Treasurer Dave Langham, Immediate Past President Izzy Myers, Cook Teams Director Joe Reyes, Bar Teams Director Steve Fox, Social Teams Director Robert Shroll, Membership Director Tim Masur, Information Officer Gregg Dudash and Building and Grounds Director Paul Giannotti.
Exceptional members
Following the election, two individual awards were presented to recognize members for their outstanding contributions to The CLUB.
The 2025 Member of the Year award was conferred upon Tim Masur, who not only achieved a record increase in new memberships but consistently fulfilled his regular volunteer responsibilities, the release said.
Masur was pulled out of the kitchen to receive his award.
Additionally, Joe Sommer received the Distinguished Lifetime Member Award. A member since 2000 Sommer, has provided invaluable services to The CLUB through his dedication and varied contributions over the years, the release added.
