With school district for two decades

Fountain Hills High School has named its next athletic director just a month after Dr. Evelyn Wynn announced she will be leaving.

Current and longstanding wrestling coach Luke Salzman will be taking her place, bringing with him two decades of experience in with the school and leading a sports team. He says he will also remain head coach of the Falcons wrestling team.

His hiring was announced on Wednesday, May 20, but will not be official until the district board approves at its next meeting.
