(Independent Newsmedia/Ryan Winslett)

The Fountain Hills Oktoberfest celebration is less than a month away.

The annual event will be held 5-10 p.m. Oct. 2 and 3 at the Fountain Hills Community Center & Centennial Circle, 13001 N. La Montana Drive, according to a press release.

In a relatively new development, Fountain Hills Sister Cities will sponsor the event, something they started last year.
