Outgoing Fountain Hills Mayor Ginny Dickey retains the smile on her face and her energetic demeanor when talking to The Times Independent about her service in the community, but clearly there is disappointment over the loss of her re-election bid for a unprecedented fourth term.
Dickey served three two-year terms as Fountain Hills’ mayor and two four-year terms as a member of the Town Council. Earlier, from 1994 to 2002 she served as a member of the Fountain Hills Unified School District Board.
Born and raised in the east, Dickey calls Fountain Hills her “hometown” since arriving here in 1983.
